THE SALT RANGE
Our journey began in the heart of the Salt Range, where the majestic Himalayan Mountains tower above, and the purest crystal rock salt lies thousands of feet below. Within the tranquil caves of Punjab, Pakistan, a completely new world was unveiled, untouched by humanity for most of its life. Himalayan Pink Salt was formed millions of years ago when ancient sea beds became encapsulated inside these mountains, creating enormous deposits of the purest crystal rock salt.
OUR PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE
Our founder, Irfan Naseem, is a third-generation Himalayan salt miner who has devoted his life to perfecting the family business. Drawing on the wisdom and knowledge passed down from his ancestors, Irfan was determined to bring a new level of quality and efficiency to the industry. After years of research and development, Khave was born, putting Pakistan back on the map and championing its rich tradition and outstanding produce. We combine traditional engineering techniques with 50+ years of ancestral knowledge and modern efficiency to create the purest, highest-quality and innovative Himalayan salt while reducing the environmental impacts of its production.
Frustrated by the overwhelming percentage of the Himalayan salt industry that cuts corners on quality and ethical practices, something had to be done. We are committed to resolving these issues, owning and controlling every step of the process to ensure the best quality and being fully accountable for every aspect of our business practices. Our salt is ethically hand-harvested by our miners in Punjab, processed through our family facility in Lahore, and delivered to your grocery shelves by our team of industry experts.
Our products contain only 100% naturally derived materials, with absolutely nothing added and nothing removed. This ensures that each grain remains packed with over 84 natural trace minerals. Our salt has been millions of years in the making, is completely untouched by modern pollution, and is in our safe hands all the way from Mother Nature’s source to your kitchen.
